A pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle in downtown Vernon.
Shortly before 1 p.m., Vernon RCMP were notified of an incident in the 3500 block of 27th Avenue.
"Police attended and found a vehicle had gone off the road at that location and struck a pedestrian," said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
The extent of the injuries are currently unknown; two people have been transported to Vernon Jubilee Hospital for treatment in relation to this matter.
The 3500 block of 27th Ave is currently closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic as RCMP investigate this matter.
No further information is available at this time.
