Police locate missing Lake Country teen

Elizabeth Casselman, 17, was last seen in the downtown Kelowna core on July 2.

UPDATE:  Police report that Elizabeth Casselman has returned home. She had been staying with a friend.


Police are looking for help in locating a 17-yearold Lake Country girl who was last seen, in the downtown Kelowna core, on July 2.

Elizabeth Casselman was last seen by her mother at around 6 p.m. on Doyle Ave when the two parted company. She hasn’t heard from her daughter since.

According to her mother it is the first time Casselman has been out of contact for this length of time and there is a moderate risk due to some psychological issues.

A police check of known places frequented by Casselman has not turned up her whereabouts.

Police, and Casselman’s mother are looking for confirmation that Elizabeth is alright and want her to contact them.

Casselman is described as Caucasian, five-foot-eight and 120-lbs with long blond hair, green eyes and has tattoos of nautical stars on her left leg.
