Travellers are advised that the Mabel Lake Forest Service Road will be closed at the 23-kilometre marker from Wednesday, April 20 to Friday, April 29, as crews repair the road that was damaged by a recent slide.
The Mabel Lake FSR is approximately 48 kilometres northeast of Lumby.
B.C.’s 55,000-kilometre network of Forest Service roads is bigger than the provincial highway system.
The road repair work is part of the Ministry of Forests’ annual capital and operating budget to improve travel and safety conditions on Forest Service roads.
