Underground work is impacting traffic in Vernon today (Friday).
Drivers on 27th Street are advised to expect traffic interruptions as one lane will be closed northbound between 39th and 40th avenues to repair storm underground piping.
"Obey detour signage and traffic control who will be on site today or consider a different route," states a release from the City of Vernon.
"The repair is anticipated to be completed today pending unforeseen emergencies."
