Power outage leaves Landing residents in the dark

Electricity went out to about 1,389 customers northwest of Okanagan Landing Road at 6:41 a.m. Friday.

Electricity went out to about 1,389 customers northwest of Okanagan Landing Road at 6:41 a.m. Friday.

B.C. Hydro is trying to determine the cause and the agency estimates the power could be restored by about 10 a.m.

There was also a reported power outage in the 3400 block off Highway 97 at 5:37 a.m. impacting less than five customers. B.C. Hydro says power could be restored by 10 a.m.
