Vernon motorists are being advised of traffic disruptions.

Construction along 30th Street, between 29th and 30th avenues, is continuing as part of the city’s investment in infrastructure. The street will be closed to through-traffic, starting the week of May 1 until mid-June to complete the project.

“All businesses in the area will remain open and can be easily accessed,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, the city’s communications officer.

“Detour routes will be modified as construction progresses. Residents are encouraged to continue supporting local businesses.”
