Lake Country RCMP are trying to identify the driver of this truck as a possible witness to an armed robbery Oct. 25.

Public asked to identify possible witness to armed robbery

On Oct. 25 at 9:57 p.m., the RCMP received a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station at Highway 97 and Beaver Lake Road.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver or registered owner of a vehicle who may be a potential witness to an armed robbery in Lake Country.

On Oct. 25 at 9:57 p.m., the RCMP received a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station at Highway 97 and Beaver Lake Road.

A male suspect entered the store and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the employee. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A truck was in the area of the gas bars at the time of the incident.

Anyone who is able to identify the unknown vehicle or its registered owner is asked to call the Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
