Expect to get wet today.
Environment Canada says rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres will begin this morning and continue through Thursday.
“A very moist area of low pressure has developed over the northwestern U.S. and is approaching southern B.C.,” states Environment Canada.
“Widespread rain is expected to develop across the Interior beginning this morning. With this ample supply of moisture and the slow moving nature of the low, heavy rainfalls are likely. Widespread rainfall totals of 40 to 60 millimetres is expected over a two-day period, with locally higher amounts possible especially where rain is enhanced by local terrain.”
