RCMP investigate alleged Lake Country attempted abduction

Two girls, aged six, say man tried to lure them into a shed Sunday afternoon

Police are looking to identify a man who allegedly attempted to grab two six-year-old girls near Lake Country.

Kelowna RCMP responded to a possible attempted abduction at 2:30 p.m. Sunday after a man allegedly tried to lure the two girls into a nearby shed.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 40-years-old, six-foot-tall, medium build with short straight brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing jeans and a white shirt.

The girls described his vehicle as being small, dark green (not quite forest green) and the seats inside were black and blue (and maybe some red).

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the man, or who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
