Motorists are being advised of road work in Vernon.
The City of Vernon will be excavating the shoulder in the 1200 block of Mission Road, near the intersection of Allan Brooks Way, Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“The work will involve closing the southbound travel lane during the hours of work, with alternating one-way traffic in the other lane using traffic control flagging personnel,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, communications officer.
“Expect delays and respect the traffic control measures in place.”
