Run for the Cure raises $46,420 in Vernon

The funds will go towards reducing the incidence and mortality rates of breast cancer

More than 350 people took part in Sunday’s Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in Vernon.

And $46,420 was raised locally towards the provincial total of $3.1 million. The funds will go towards reducing the incidence and mortality rates of breast cancer and helping support those with the disease.
