Safety supported

There is $31,000 for the Restorative Justice Society and $55,000 for Vernon Search and Rescue.

Two local groups dedicated to public safety are receiving community gaming grants funded by the provincial government.

There is $31,000 for the Restorative Justice Society of the North Okanagan and $55,000 for Vernon Search and Rescue.

“The safety of British Columbians is a top priority,” said Peter Fassbender, community development minister.

“We are proud to provide more than $5.7 million (provincially).”
