The North Okanagan Shuswap School District 83 announced its financial report for the 2016 school year.
The total elected officials/trustee remuneration from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 was $113,064 and $21,407 in expenses.
Previous board chairperson Roberta Johnson made the most with $14,176 and had the most expenses at $5,637.
Current official trustee Mike McKay made $3,500 and had $1,052 in expenses.
For employees in the district, remuneration was $44,953,069 and expenses cost $576,759.
Morag Asquith, the previous director of instruction student learning, and made more than Superintendent Glenn Borthistle at $153,515.32 and had expenses of $17,362. Borthistle made $147,081 and had expenses of $18,828.
Spokesperson for the district Alice Hucul said it was because of vacation pay out.
Asquith left in June to become assistant superintendent of schools in Lethbridge.
The district was below its operating expense budget at $59,042,086. The budget was $61,960,668.
