Shots fired at Okanagan Landing home

Nobody was hurt in incident that happened late Sunday; Vernon RCMP investigating

Vernon RCMP are investigation a shots fired complaint at an Okanagan Landing residence late Sunday evening.

Vernon RCMP are investigating an overnight incident where shots were fired at a residence on Scott Road in Okanagan Landing.

Police received the report shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

“The examination of the scene confirmed that the house was struck by bullets,” said Vernon RCMP spokesperson Cosnt. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

An adult and a child were at home at the time of the incident, however no one was hurt.

“Our investigative team is working to determine the motive for this house being targeted,” said Noseworthy.
