As of Friday at 8:30 a.m., all lifts will be operational on Putnam and Powder.

Silver Star Mountain Resort is shifting into full gear.

As of Friday at 8:30 a.m., all lifts will be operational on Putnam and Powder.

“Putnam Creek, with limited terrain, Silverwoods, Tube Town and the Rockstar Terrain Park will all be open,” said Brad Baker, operations director.

“We start night skiing on the Summit, Silver Queen and Discovery Park Carpet Friday night·”

The groomed runs that will be ready and open in Putnam Creek Friday (there will be additional runs open that won’t be groomed) include:

“I skied in Putnam Thursday morning and our groomers and the six centimetres of new snow have done wonders. It is very good skiing, I would just recommend staying on the groomed runs,” said Baker.
