North Okanagan motorists will want to take it easy Monday morning after snowfall overnight.
Drive B.C. says Highway 6 has compact snow with slippery sections from Vernon to Cherryville.
Highway 97 has compact snow and slippery sections from Lake Country to Winfield while Highway 97A has compact snow and slippery sections from Swan Lake to Mara, while the same conditions exist on Highway 97B from Enderby to Salmon Arm.
There is also compact snow and slippery conditions on Westside Road.
As of 8:30 a.m., it is minus 5 in Vernon and Environment Canada is calling for a high of minus 4 Monday, along with upwards of five centimetres of snow ending late this morning. There could be flurries in the afternoon and an overnight low of minus 5.
The forecast is for plus 2 Tuesday and a 30 per cent chance of flurries in the evening.
