Due to limited nursing availability, the South Similkameen Health Centre in Keremeos will not be accepting walk-in patients on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Patients who arrive at the centre with urgent needs will be redirected to Penticton Regional Hospital.
“People in the community who need life-threatening emergency care (i.e., chest pains, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding) should always call 911 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility,” said Interior Health in the release.
All others services at the South Similkameen Health Centre will continue as normal.
