What is the No. 1 issue in Spallumcheen and why should residents vote for you as mayor?
The No. 1 priority in Spallumcheen, I believe to be, is downloading from the B. C. government and the federal government.
I have nine years on council, six years as chair of parks and rec. I have good working relationships with local MLAs and the neighbouring communities. I have been in my own business for more than 40 years, and I have strong fiscal responsibility.
I am a strong supporter of community events, and a director on the boards for the Regional District of North Okanagan and O’Keefe Ranch.
If elected I will keep moving ahead with a positive attitude, listening to the people.
We have many issues all inter-related and important. They include continuing to work on the Master Water Plan and with the water districts. Maintain and strengthen our industrial park and home-based businesses and supporting the farmers.
It’s important to have everyone working together toward the same goal and keeping Spallumcheen strong and the best place to live and work.
