A Motor Vehicle Act charge added insult to injury for a Lake Country woman following a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Spallumcheen.
The 42-year-old woman was riding on Hullcar Road near Lansdowne Road when the motorcycle went off the road, into a ditch and down an embankment shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Her husband, riding another motorcycle behind her, witnessed the crash and phoned emergency services personnel.
“The woman suffered lacerations to her pelvic area,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
She was charged because she was driving contrary to conditions.
