Stand down.
The Township of Spallumcheen has advised it stood down its emergency operations centre at the municipal office at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
“We have submitted our recovery plan to move into the next steps of the recovery process,” said township deputy corporate officer Cindy Graves.
The township opened its EOC earlier in May after heavy flooding, reaching a Level 2 status on May 11.
The centre was downgraded to Level 1 the next day and remained in effect until it was stood down Wednesday.
The township also hosted a town hall-style meeting with provincial representatives in regards to potential provincial funding assistance in wake of the floods.
