The recovery of three stolen trucks at a Vernon residence resulted in the arrest of two people from out-of-town.
Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP recovered three stolen Ford pickup trucks from a residence in the 4700 block of 20th Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27.
“The investigation led to the arrest of a 33-year- old Alberta woman and a 32-year-old Kelowna man,” said Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
“RCMP obtained a search warrant for the residence and recovered more stolen property from inside the house.”
The woman was held in custody to face charges while the man was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
The investigation is ongoing, and RCMP are following up on further leads in this matter.
