An emergency water main shutdown is underway in Coldstream on Highway 6.
The district announced the shutdown would take place immediately Wednesday afternoon.
Homes and businesses between Buchanan Road East and School Road are affected.
The water shutdown comes as a leak in the water main called for an immediate fix. It is expected that water service will be restored by 6 p.m. today.
“We appreciate your patience as crews work to rectify the issue,” the district said.
