The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation will benefit from baked goods.

The Tim Hortons Smile Cookies campaign, held over one week in May, raised just shy of $28,000 for the Foundation through the sale of the popular cookies.

Franchise owner Dan Currie and his daughter, Danica, made the presentation of $27,986.95 to Foundation directors Julie Pilon and Judy Dangel, and Foundation staff member Cassandra Schwarz on Wednesday, June 7.

The Smile Cookie program started in 1996 to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario. Today 600+ local charities and organizations in communities across Canada benefit from Smile Cookie sales.
