A sporting event will impact traffic in one area of Vernon.
On Saturday, Tronson Road, from Scott Road to Bella Vista Road, and Lakeshore Road, between Cummins and Tronson roads, will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to noon for the Kids of Steel Triathlon.
"Local access will be available for residents," said Tanya Laing Gahr, with the City of Vernon.
"Traffic control will be in place during the event. Please choose alternate routes of travel during this time."
