Uber officially launches in Kelowna June 6.

At noon Kelowna residents will be able to hop on the app and request a ride.

Victoria and Chilliwack residents will also be able to take advantage of the ridesharing service starting the same day.

To kick things off, Uber is offering an incentive for drivers. If they complete their profile and 20 trips within the first 14 days of launching, drivers will get a $1,000 promotion added to regular earnings.
