The Trans-Canada is open after a crash 34 kilometres west of Revelstoke resulted in a closure.

The Trans-Canada Highway is closed 34 kilometres west of Revelstoke because of a vehicle incident, DriveBC reports.
No details have been provided on the incident. Unconfirmed reports heard on the radio scanner indicate multiple vehicles were involved and multiple people may have been injured.
Those reports have not been confirmed by officials.
On Twitter, Chantel Erickson wrote she was stuck at Crazy Creek and saw two ambulances and a helicopter pass by heading eastbound.

DriveBC says they are assessing the incident and an update will be provided at 2 p.m.
It is the second crash on the Trans-Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Salmon Arm today. Earlier today, a crash closed the highway between eight kilometres west of Sicamous.
DriveBC announced that incident was clear just after they reported news of the latest crash.
