Vehicle fire quickly doused in West Kelowna

The blaze was first reported at 6:07 a.m.

The West Kelowna Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire around 6:07 a.m. on Friday morning, June 9. (Contributed/Facebook).

Smoke filled the West Kelowna sky from an early morning vehicle fire on Friday morning, June 9.

Around 6:07 a.m., the fire department received calls about a car fire near Vineyard Drive and East Boundary Road in the Boucherie neighbourhood. Upon arrival, flames and smoke were highly visible.

The blaze was quickly doused by eight firefighters that responded to the scene.

No one was injured and fire crews, along with the RCMP are investigating to determine a cause.
