Update: Vehicle incident slows traffic on Squilax-Anglemont Road near Chase

DriveBC reports the road is open for single lane, alternating traffic only with a 60 km/h limit

Update: 6:20 p.m.

DriveBC has confirmed the road is now open for single lane, alternating traffic. The reduced speed limit within the zone is 60 kilometres per hour.

A vehicle incident has Squilax-Anglemont Road, close to the TransCanada Highway near Chase, fully closed to traffic.

DriveBC reports the incident happened between Holding Road and Eva Road in Chase and has closed the road in both directions. Adams Creek Bridge is also closed.

There is no detour available and DriveBC warns drivers to watch for traffic controllers.

DriveBC’s next update is scheduled for 4 p.m.
