City of Vernon crews are putting the finishing touches on the newly constructed Kin Beach overflow parking lot.

“The 40-stall parking area will be open to the public this weekend and was constructed to alleviate summer parking congestion issues on Lakeshore Road adjacent to Sandy Beach,” said James Rice, public works manager.
