Vernon gas leak stopped, repairs continue

As of Monday evening, the gas leak at 43rd Street and 16th Avenue has been turned off and FortisBC crews continue to work on making the necessary repairs.

“People are encouraged to stay away from the area as repairs continue. If you must travel in the immediate area, please follow the direction of traffic control,” the City said in a news release.
