Vernon RCMP seek public’s help in locating missing man

Robert Parker, 58, left a medical facility Tuesday without completing his treatment

UPDATED WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 9:30 A.M.: Parker was located safe and sound by police following a tip from the public.

Vernon RCMP are asking the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Robert Parker, 58, left a medical facility Tuesday without completing his treatment.

“Police are requesting assistance in locating Parker so that he can receive necessary medical attention,” said Vernon RCMP Cpl. Todd Bowden.

Parker is described as Caucasian, six-foot-tall with a slim build, balding and with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red vest and earth-toned fleece pants.

Police recommend that you do not approach Parker, but call the RCMP at (250) 545-7171 or 911, quoting file number 2015-9454, if he is located.

Police do not have a photo of Parker on file.
