VJH Radiothon hits the airwaves May 26

Donations can be made online, by phone, or in-person

  • May. 16, 2022 5:30 p.m.

Have a Heart Radiothon is around the corner in support of Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

North Okanagan residents are encouraged to tune into Pure Country 105.7 on May 26 to raise funds for new hospital equipment in the Women’s and Children’s Health Services unit.

VJH Foundation Executive Director Kate McBrearty says it will be a 12-hour live event.

“With 828 babies born in 2021 alone, the unit was full of activity and highlighted the need for additional specialized equipment – a panda warmer and a pediatric transport monitor.”

Pure Country hosts Turner Gentry and Jess Mattia will be broadcasting live from Village Green Shopping Centre on the day.

You can donate online, by phone at (250)558-1362, or in-person between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
