West Kelowna shed fire under investigation

The fire was reported at 2:30 a.m.

An early morning shed fire was quickly doused by West Kelowna fire crews on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Around 2:30 a.m, the fire department received reports of a shed on fire next to a home in the 1900 block of Bayview Court. 

Upon arrival, the shed was fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. However, there was moderate damage to the home's exterior but the inside of the home wasn't affected.

The occupants of the home were able to get out and no injures were reported.

At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue attended the scene with four engines, a safety officer and a command unit.
