A Vernon event was another success.
Sunday's Wokathon at the Rice Box raised $16,305 through food sales and a silent auction.
"It's another record year for Wokathon," said On Ouchs, Rice Box owner.
The funds will go towards the NONA Child Development Centre's Clubhouse project and educational programs in Cambodia.
Ouch credits his staff, the volunteers, local businesses and the community for Wokathon's success.
"Thanks again again for the support Vernon," he said.
