Motorists traveling along Bella Vista Road may have to take a brief detour this week while crews install a sanitary manhole.
Starting at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, a detour will be in place between Orchard Hill and Sunnyview roads.
Bella Vista Road is expected to reopen Friday, April 8 by 4 p.m.
“Please note, these timelines may change if emergencies arise,” the City of Vernon said.
Local traffic will still have access to the construction area during the closure.
“For the safety of workers and public, please slow down in construction and detour zones, and obey all traffic control measures. Minor travel delays should be expected. The city appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed.”
