Today, I regret to let family and friends know of the passing of my first-born son, Adam Keating, 35 of Vernon, who died unexpectedly on December 13, 2013.
Adam was born on May 28, 1978 in 100 Mile House, the son of Timothy and Laurel Keating.
He attended high schools in Kelowna and Vernon. He completed the Heavy Equipment Operator’s Course, and was an avid weight lifter.
Adam also had a very kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He often helped others in need.
Family was very important to Adam, and he stayed in close contact with his loved ones. Adam strongly desired to have children of his own.
Adam was predeceased by his father Timothy Keating, uncle Bill Keating, grandparents Doris McDonald-Keating, Alan Grant; great grandparents: Phyllis and Clarence Hendrickson, and Adelaide Grant and his girlfriend, Jenessa Brown.
Adam is survived by his mother Laurel Keating (Paul) of Lumby; his siblings Zack Smith, Rebecca (Brad), Amanda (Alessandro), and Corey Keating and his son Jordan. He leaves his maternal grandparents Beverly and Alf Fester. Also survived by his grandmother Marion Grant and several aunts, uncles, and close friends, and Rob Smith and Paul Volker who both played a very supportive part in Adam’s life.
