It is with sadness in our hearts that the family of Adeline McKeown announces the passing of their mother, grandmother, sister and aunt on March 29th, 2017.

Adeline was born into a large family of six boys and three girls on February 5th, 1933 near Biggar, Saskatchewan. She moved with her family to Vernon, B.C. where she married Robert and they had three sons, Gary, Don and Timmy. She leaves behind four brothers, one sister, two sons, her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, her husband Robert and their young son, Timmy.

Adeline was a Mom and homemaker and loved to volunteer. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and was well known for her beautiful flower gardens. She spent her final years in Noric House where she made many friends and was loved by all, especially for her grand sense of humour. She will be missed by the staff at Noric House and the family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the excellent care she received there, with special thanks to Leanne.

Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Craig Tufts officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room. At the conclusion of the Reception, Adeline will be taken to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the grave of her infant son.
