We regret to announce the passing of Adrianus (Adri) in Vernon at the Hamlets on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the age of 95.
Adri was pre-deceased by his loving wife Johanna in 2009. He was also pre-deceased by his 5 sisters and one brother all from Holland.
Adri was born in Veghel, Holland in 1923 and immigrated to Canada with Johanna in 1951.
Adri is survived by his three sons: Martin (Wendy), John (Barb) all of Vernon, and Michael (Cindy) of Falkland; one daughter: Cathy (Bill) Gray of Richmond; eight grandchildren: Kevin, Brodie, Karlee, Darren (Teri), Dylan, Kurtis (Taylor), Keaton and Kirby; one great granddaughter: Sawyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery. Following the interment, family and friends will gather back at the church for a reception.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation can do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
