It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Al Leboe on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Al was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Maude, and one son, Billy LeBoe.
Dad lived a great life! He was surrounded by the love of generations of family: his children: Danny (Michele), Deborah, Susan (Dwayne), and Sandy; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and his siblings: Pat, Betty, and Floyd.
Dad was an avid outdoorsman and rancher who loved hunting, camping and riding his favorite horse, Arrow. He was an excellent marksman. Dad worked for the City of Kelowna in various capacities, as a guard with the RCMP, and as a traffic officer.
During his retirement, Al moved to Parkers Cove in Vernon – his little piece of heaven. There Dad met his “special lady”, Yvonne Sullivan. Dad and Yvonne spent summers enjoying family and friends and many winter vacations in Arizona. Dad also loved his visits to Mexico for the cheap shopping.
Al’s family wishes to extend their greatest gratitude to the caring staff of Creekside Landing. They gave Dad great joy and laughter in his final years.
Dad will always be remembered for his sense of humour and great kindness, also his passion for “Day-Trading”. Dad we hope you’re still trading and have your “big windfall” so you could have your “dream ranch” memories last forever. We love you.
Dad will be remembered with a celebration of his life on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
