Alan was born on June 15th, 1933 in Whitwell, England and passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on July 20th, 2022 at the age of 89 years.
Alan was a loving, supportive and kind father to Brad, Brian and Sherry and a loving and devoted partner to Lyn Briggs; a step-father to Rhonda and Valerie; and a grandfather and great-grandfather to many.
Alan left England at the age of twenty, eventually arriving in Vernon, a place he would always call home. He was an Electrical Contractor for over fifty years. Alan loved to camp and fish for that elusive salmon at Mabel Lake, enjoyed travel adventures with Lyn and lived a long and fulfilled life. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In respecting Alan's wishes, he was cremated and there will be no formal services held. A gathering of family and close friends will take place next summer at Mabel Lake.
