1938 - 2017

It is with heartfelt sadness and fond memories that the family of Albert Joseph Labelle announce his passing on July 23, 2017. Albert will be missed by his beloved wife Lynn; children Roger (Betty), Roland, David, Caroline (Larry) Bilanchuk; grandchildren Dallas, Andrew, Jessie, Dylan, Brynne, Quinn, Kearen, Kira-Lee and great-grandchildren Jaxon and Kai. Albert will be remembered by sisters Gaitanne, Yvette and Rita, and many nieces, nephews and friends, predeceased by Laurette, Fern and brother Fernand.  

Albert was born in Thorhild, Alberta on April 18, 1938 and spent many years in Slave Lake, Alberta. In 1956 he moved to Coquitlam, BC with his parents Ferrier and Marie-Ange Labelle. 

Al met Lynn Curtis in 1964 and they were married November 7, 1964. They and four children moved to Armstrong in 1973. They purchased a small mobile home park and later expanded the size and it became Labelle Mobile home park until September 2015. 

Al enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping & boating. He also spent many hours and time building, renovating and landscaping their homes. Over the last 25 years Al and Lynn have made several trips to USA and Mexico. 

Celebration of Life will be held in his honour on August 19, 2017 in Armstrong from 1-3 pm at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services.
