It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Albert Raymond Joseph Paquin on August 22nd, 2017 in Vernon, BC. Albert was born on September 23rd, 1920 in St. Edouard, AB where he was born and raised. He moved from Alberta to British Columbia in 1974 and worked as an orderly at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital for many years. Albert was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion and from 1941-1945 he served overseas during World War 2. Albert will be forever loved and missed by his loving wife Eva, to whom he was married for 76 years, his children Dominique (Dolorès) Paquin of Spruce Grove, AB, Angèle (Robert) Black of Busby, AB, Robert (Exilia) Paquin of Peace River, AB, Camille (Cheryl) Paquin of Edmonton, AB, Joanne (Larry) Zazulak of St. Paul, AB, Aurèle Paquin of Hinton, AB, Rhéa (Gary) Paquin of Kelowna, BC, 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is predeceased by his sons Clément and Marcel, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Albert is the last of his family and will forever be remembered by his humorous spirit, charismatic personality and boisterous smile. There will be a Prayer Service held at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 25th, 2017 and a Funeral Mass held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at St. James Church (2607 27th Street, Vernon, BC).
