Albert Vincent Ford, known as Vince, was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on May 6,1926, the youngest of 8 children. He passed away peacefully in Armstrong on February 14, 2019. At an early age, he practiced ventriloquism and as a young man, joined a circus show performing his act with his puppet, Denny. Then the war came, and he joined the Royal Canadian Engineers where he remained for 33 years. In 1950, he met and married his wife of 57 years, Irene (Rena) Ford. He had two children, Patricia and Gary. He had many other talents and interests, such as landscape painting, singing, guitar playing, carpentry, he also wrote plays and acted in them. His motto in life was, "the difficult is easy, it's the impossible that takes a little longer".
He is predeceased by his son Gary and his wife Rena. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial to be held on June 29th, 2019 Graveside Service at the Armstrong Cemetery in Armstrong at 12 pm.
