Alexander Valentine Kaliszuk (1931- 2016) known as Alex; in his early years as “Curly” or “Hook”.
Alex’s life was devoted to hunting, fishing, camping and spending many happy times with his family and friends at Mable Lake where he was known as “King of Mable Lake”. So named by W.O. Mitchell due to his fishing prowess.
He is survived by his loving wife Juliet of sixty years; two sons Steven (Jody), Todd (Wendy); five grandsons Cody, Morgan, Garnett, James and Travis Lungren and his great grandson Cruz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Vernon Jubilee Hospital or The North Okanagan Hospice Society.
