We regret to announce the death at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on January 13, 2010, of Alfred Howard Hallam at the age of 87 years. Alfred is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lilian; four daughters, Heather Hallam of Vernon, Lynne (Allan) Schweb of Armstrong, Candace Ross of Red Deer, AB and Carol (Allan) Budan of Coldstream; one son, Douglas (Lynne) Hallam of Selkirk, MB; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Bernard (Betty) Hallam of West Kelowna and Gerald (Wilma) Hallam of Saskatoon, SK as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 19 at 11:30 a.m. from the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alfred can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
