November 1, 1943 - July 14, 2018
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Alice Gwendoline Sage who passed away peacefully in Hospice House on July 14, 2018 in Vernon, BC at the age of 74. She was born in Williams Lake, BC on November 1, 1943.
Alice grew up in Maple Ridge, BC and after graduating moved to England, where she met her husband Alan Sage. Alan was stationed in Malta, Alice looked fondly on the years spent there.
After immigrating back to Canada, they lived in Maple Ridge until they retired to Armstrong, BC and later Alice moved to Vernon after Alan's passing. Alice enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling, and fishing on the ocean with her husband.
She is predeceased by her husband of 40 years Alan Sage, mother Cicely, father Bill and three of her brothers Ed, Dave and John.
Alice is remembered by her siblings Ann (Brent), Cicely (Darrel), Neil (Betty) and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the North Okanagan Hospice Society. As per Alice's wishes there will be no service held.
