Al passed away peacefully on September 14, 2018 with his family by his side. Al was born in Camrose, Alberta on April 9, 1945.
Al spent many years mentoring children in Boy Scouts and Kingdom Kids/Boys Club. Al enjoyed spending his days fishing, camping, gardening and travelling.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Donna, of almost 47 years, children Dylan (Kerry), Trina (Kevin) and the grandchildren he adored Mattias, Aleena, Cody, Natalie and Chelsea. He leaves behind his siblings Robert (Martha), Harvey (Barbara), Lilly and Shirley and his brothers-in-law Mark (Christine), Dennis (Doris), Kevin, Terry (Shelley) and Marietta and Bruce.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vernon Search and Rescue or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 10:00am at the Easthill Community Church (3605 12th Street, Vernon, BC).
