Alma was born in Wembley, Alberta on April 28, 1934. Alma was called home to be with her Lord on April 10th in Vernon, BC at the age of 86. Alma was predeceased by her loving husband Alvin, her parents: Frank and Amanda Nagel and her brother: Englbert Nagel.
She will be remembered by her children: Linda (Al) Girard of Nanaimo. Gary (Kim) Senner of Fraser Lake. Wayne (Lynn) Senner of Kelowna. Karen (Brian) Krushel of Kelowna and Brenda (Pete) Lovell of Fraser Lake as well as her sister Dorothy (Bob) Sieker.
Alma's Grandchildren: Michelle, Danielle, Jenelle, Tyson, Brandon, Garrison, Meghan, Alex, Marshall, Emily, Jessica & Tori as well as 12 Great- Grandchildren.
Alma was the first born and grew up with her brother and sister on a farm in Wembley, Alberta where she enjoyed farm life. At the age of 19, Alma moved to Grande Prairie and met Alvin. They were married in June 1955.
Alma and Alvin moved to BC as Alvin worked in the lumber industry. Alma held a traditional stay-at-home roll and raising their children was her priority.
After Alvin retired in 1987, they moved to Vernon, BC where they enjoyed several addresses: Westside Rd, Avenue West Condos and finally the Orchard Valley Retirement Community. In early April , poor health forced Alma to move into the Vernon Hospice.
Alma enjoyed puzzles, reading, researching her family history and was a member of the St John's Lutheran church in Vernon.
Alma dearly loved her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been arranged by the Vernon Bethel Funeral Chapel at 5605 27th Street.
Due to Covid restrictions the funeral will be closed to the public.
