Alvin passed away peacefully in the Hospital of Organ Failure in his 83rd year.
He was a lifelong resident of Vernon, living in Coldstream & BX areas. He worked at the glass plant until his retirement.
He was an avid Carnival supporter since 1961, a Pattern Dancer for 20 years & Bowler.
He received the Jessie Ferguson Memorial Award in 2018 from the Carnival Society. He was referred to as the "BUTTON GUY".
He is survived by daughter Donna Timm (New West), two grandkids, Meagan Gallicano (NFLD) & Ryan Gallicano (Langley) two sisters: Vivian Zwarych (Vernon) & Delores McNee (Osoyoos), one brother Lloyd Timm (Agassiz), and nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Betty Timm, daughter Brenda Gallicano & parents Paul & Elsa Timm.
A private graveside service will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life in the summer.
