Jean worked for the Hudson Bay Company for many years in Calgary and after moving to BC she worked at home raising her children and running the farm.
Jean and Ron were blessed with 5 children. Jean loved to travel with her husband and family. They traveled throughout Canada and the United States, cruised to the Bahamas, explored Australia, Hong Kong, and Inuvik, NWT. Many winters were spent in Yuma, Arizona. In their travels Jean and Ron made many life long friends and loved visiting family and friends wherever they traveled.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ron Brulé, her father, Robert Dickie and mother, Lavica Dickie (nee Leitch), sister, Margaret Selzer and brother, Harvie Dickie.
Jean loved to do crafts; crocheting, quilt making and knitting – she never left home without her knitting! She loved spending time with her grandchildren teaching them crafts and baking. She loved music, playing her guitar and family gatherings where everyone came to play and sing songs. Jean cherished her family and will be remember for her kindness and generosity to all. Jean will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still,
In my heart you hold a place
That no one could ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
For a part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.
